About

Founded on the Men of Principle initiative, the Gamma Beta chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the University of Utah has been an integral part of the community. Our chapter takes immense pride in upholding these values while actively contributing to the betterment of our campus and society at large.

One of the cornerstones of our chapter’s mission is our longstanding partnership with the Rape Recovery Center. Over a decade ago, our fraternity recognized the pressing need to address sexual violence within our community. Thus, we forged a partnership with the Rape Recovery Center, aiming to raise awareness, support survivors, and actively combat sexual violence.

Through collaborative efforts, including hosting forums, organizing philanthropy weeks, and spearheading fundraising events, we have worked tirelessly to shed light on this critical issue. Our members are dedicated to fostering a culture of respect, consent, and empowerment, both within our fraternity and throughout the community.

The impact of our partnership has been profound, garnering recognition from esteemed organizations such as the Rape Recovery Center and the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault. These accolades serve as a testament to our unwavering commitment to effecting positive change and creating a safer, more inclusive campus environment.
